Benzydamine is indicated for:

Painful oropharyngeal conditions

Irrespective of gender only Children (1 year - 12 years old) , Adolescents (12 years - 18 years old) Adults (18 years old or older)

Benzydamine is a locally acting analgesic and anti-inflammatory treatment for the throat and mouth. It is used to treat various painful oropharyngeal conditions such as mouth ulcers, sore throat, sore mouth or gums, dental pain.

Contraindications

Active ingredient Benzydamine is contraindicated in the following cases:

Active peptic ulcer or history of ulcer

No gender/age discrimination

Benzydamine hydrochloride is contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcer or history of ulceration or other organic diseases of the digestive tract.
